Always Ethical has one of New Zealand’s strictest ethical investment mandates. The problem? Most people had never heard of them.

As a small KiwiSaver provider competing against much bigger, better-known players, they needed to build awareness and give people a compelling reason to take notice.

Their digital experience wasn’t helping. Low engagement and a difficult join journey meant potential members were dropping away before signing up.

What We Did

We repositioned Always Ethical with a clearer, more confident brand and a digital strategy designed to turn awareness into action.

We looked closely at the KiwiSaver landscape to find where Always Ethical could genuinely stand apart, then brought their difference to life through a refreshed identity, stronger messaging and a more human approach to content.

We redesigned the homepage and simplified the journey, then connected it with programmatic, search, social and content to build awareness, drive traffic and create a more joined-up experience from first impression to sign-up.

The Outcome

The refreshed brand launched with stronger engagement and digital campaigns performing above industry benchmarks.

More importantly, Always Ethical now has a clearer position in a market dominated by much larger players and a platform designed to support its next stage of growth.
